Tendrils
Description
Tendrils Restaurant offers upscale dining at Sagecliffe Resort Spa in central Washington State, with a menu focused on farm-to-table philosophy. Reservations are encouraged but not required. Open to the general public, we welcome our local neighbors from Ellensburg, Wenatchee, and Moses Lake! Executive Chef Jave Cronauer has crafted a new, masterful menu in line with our farm-to-table approach. Located near the Gorge Amphitheater, the resort embodies the harmony between humans and nature, perched on cliffs overlooking the Columbia River.

They have breakfast menu posted online, so expected breakfast especially since i made a reservation. Arrived to find it had been changed to buffet. No where else to eat within miles. Very basic buffet.
Daisy took great care of us during our visit. She was attentive and provided excellent service. The food was delicious, and the overall experience was fantastic. We were at the resort for my partner's birthday weekend, and the staff really went the extra mile to make it special. I highly recommend Tendrils!
If you are visiting Cave b or staying at Sagecliffe there are limited food options, this and pizza. Food was really fantastic, airline chicken and a lamb special with risotto was great but the ambiance feels very much like a hotel lobby restaurant not a high end, top notch establishment as the prices would indicate. Service is green, basic order taking not high end service. Wait times are long, they were out of two wines I requested with no help or suggestions to alternatives. They also don’t carry Cave B wine the sister property and yes I know they are operated separately. Entrees are limited no seafood or a variety of choices. For an $80 steak I expect water filled, check backs within a reasonable time frame, helpful suggestions, maybe fresh ground pepper for the salad and bread for $8? Really? I’ll pass.
Food was very good. service was great. everything a la carte, including bread, was a little over the top considering price of main course. placement of large planter immediately behind my chair resulted in in knocked over planter, a big mess and loud noise when i got up to leave. thought planter would be relocated, but at breakfast the next morning the planters were even closer to the chair backs.
