I live out of town and this has been our go-to place in Quincy to meet with family and have a good meal with good service. I also always commented about how friendly the staff is as well. I went there with my elderly parents on Monday April 29th around 4pm and we had a bad experience there. Our meal was not bad but afterwards I ordered ice cream to go for my mom and dad. Two one scoop sundaes cost about $10. My dad's had a very small amount of chocolate ice cream with barly no Ande's candy on it. My mom's had a full scoop of vanilla with plenty of strawberry and pecans. My dad went to see if he could get some more ice cream and candy added to his cup and the staff were so rude and said they wouldn't give him anymore. He told them he usually gets more than that and they told him that someone must have overfilled it for him before. My dad is very upset about how he was treated and we don't think we will be returning. So disappointed because this has been our go to place for years.
I was having a bad day, so I stopped by for a peanut butter, banana, and chocolate chip concrete custard or ice cream. Not sure what it's called. It was so yummy and the girl at the window was so nice that it changed my entire day. ?Kid-friendliness: Nice atmosphere
Quiet, low-key with old-fashioned food. Great shakes.
Pretty good food. One of the best options for fast food. The kids always love eating here and getting their free ice cream.
