Seemed distracted and very... read more Dropped in enticed by reviews and the quirky menu and location. Service was slow and drinks turned up after 40 mins wait for starter. Seemed distracted and very full with many waiting for ages. Watson burger was good when it arrived, chips different and the fried vegetable starter good if a bit greasy. Small kitchen with one lady cooking individually for 50+ covers clearly staff had not turned up and unable to deliver to the reviews historically. Please sort out your staffing!!

Lunch beckoned and so we went in search of a v... read more We were on holiday in Lignol and decided to visit Quimper so our daughter could take photos for a school project. Lunch beckoned and so we went in search of a vegetarian-friendly menu for said daughter (quite a difficulty so far in rural Brittany). Imagine our surprise then when we saw a large sign for this place with the promise of veggie food. I have to say that the thought of a Sherlock-themed restaurant didn't exactly fill my head with joy but how wrong I was! Clearly designed by somebody with a love of not only the character but the whole ethos of that whole period of literary London as the attention to detail is extensive. I loved that the menu items where named for characters (even some of Jack the Ripper's victims) and the food itself was great value and tasted fabulous. My veggie daughter had one of the flatbread Croque Monsieur's and was massively impressed and I had the "Moriarty" burger and struggled to finish it such was the size!Heartily recommended - oh yes and the staff were brilliant too!!

The burgers are homemade and cooked to order in your preference of rare, medium or well done. I had the Jeckyl and Hyde burger and my husband had the Sherlock Grump. They came with chips and salad. It is the best burger I have had in my life! The burgers are named with a Sherlock Holmes theme which I thought was very clever! I The two guys who served us were very friendly and polite and attentive! They also spoke good English which was a bonus which made it easier for us to order! I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely return when next in Brittany on holiday! !

I would have liked to have given more points for eating alone, but have to take a point due to the service. we found this place randomly and eating looked good,... read more I would have liked to have given more points for eating alone, but have to take a point due to the service. we found this place randomly and eating looked good, gluten-free it is difficult to find french, some where...there is something suitable. when it was a hot day, we sat outside in the courtyard. I ordered a chicken salad, and normally I am underwhelmed when salate arrived, that was amazing. so delicious and so many different components, the only criticism is too much mayo. my man ordered his burger and when my children asked to moan the waitress who did not speak good English, and showed us a page in the menu in French. we are not great French speakers and there was no translation, so it can only assume that they do not ask to change the content of the burgers. she wasn't very friendly and didn't seem to serve us. the food arrived and the changes that we had demanded were done so that the children (and I) were relieved! eating was amazing, very pleased that we had chosen this place. we could have ordered a drink, but nobody could watch, and nobody came to check if we were in order. my daughter and I went to the toilet that was above, and the inner was decorated for the time of shelock holmes and had memory of the walls, even in the toilet. it looked really good. I would recommend, just hope they have a more beautiful server!
