Contribute Feedback What Marta Halvorson likes about Starbucks Reserve:
I have many fond memories in this Starbucks branch. Some painful, some melancholy.
All of these things were made more dramatic by warm mugs of White Chocolate Mocha Lattes and cigarettes on the wide second floor porch. People around me aren't sure if I'm crying because of my predicament or if the coffee is just too good.
Maybe it's both. View all feedback.
One of the busiest Starbucks as a lot of students study here. They have limited brewing methods for single origin beans as compared to the S Maison branch. I was able to try the Rwanda Musasa (using clover method), Nicaragua, and Guatemala (both using pour over method) here on different occassions. My favorite would be the Guatemala with its strong notes of tamarind, and I also liked its aroma. Baristas would just go about their business and aren't as friendly maybe due to the volume of people or orders. It's a bit hard trying to start a conversation with their baristas especially when you want to learn about single origin beans. They have a smaller area for reserve coffees and is a bit restricting compared to S Maison's counter. They have an extensive line of SB merchandise. The place is spacious and has a large seating capacity with outdoor seating available on the 2nd floor. They also have an area for conferences or a private area for large groups, and communal tables are also available.

Not your ordinary SB. Great ambiance. Great place to study. They offer some food and beverages not ordinarily available in some regular SB place plus it's open late so it's really a great place to study
