I noticed that Fat Fook restaurant has a unique interior design with plates and bowls displayed on their walls. For our meal, we ordered satay beef noodles, chicken chop, and chicken skin. It took about 20 minutes for our food to be served, with the chicken chop and beef noodles coming out first. The portion of beef noodles was enough for 2-3 people and the chicken chop was delicious. We were surprised when they also... View all feedback.
3points for the taste, additional point for the staff<br/ This is 1 of the restos that you are leaving with a smile, then gonna forget it.<br/ <br/ Issue is different dishes taste alike- was not able to capture pics of the other dishes.
The name is what got our attention to this restaurant. The kid in me just had to.<br/ We ordered:<br/ <br/ Salt and Pepper Chicken Cubes A good appetizer. Lots of pepper and salt on those cubes.<br/ <br/ Fried Stinky Tofu I was recommended this by a Taiwanese friend. We are no longer friends. All jokes aside, my pallet did not enjoy this at all.<br/ <br/ Satay Stir Fried Beef Noodles Generous serving and good taste. Would have wanted more beef in there.<br/ <br/ Shrimp Pork Wonton Noodles The whole dish tasted fresh. Broth, noodles and dumplings all were very good. I recommend that they serve calamansi as one of their condiments.
What I liked:Lately it seems like i'm in the crusade for finding the best xiaolongbao in the Metro so we tried Fat Fook. Surprisingly there are a lot more to this place than their really good soup dumpling.<br/ <br/ What we had:<br/ Crispy chicken skin really good and with a generous serving, the powder is making my boyfriend sneeze but he wouldn't mind because it's really good<br/ <br/ Stir fried eggplant very flavorful, again big serving, there is a similar version of this dish offered in an Indonesian resto that I also love but this one is less spicy<br/ <br/ Taiwan style fried rice came off a bit too strong to me, probably also because we were not able to have a rather balanced selection in our orders, we were just too excited to try everything<br/ <br/ Garlic spare ribs probably the weakest dish in the table, I just found it less exciting than the other dishes they offer, wondering if the pork chop would have been a better choice<br/ <br/ Their milk teas are also good and for a relatively cheaper price. : <br/ <br/ Will be back again for sure!
Haven’t tasted their food yet, but their matcha milk tea is one of the best I’ve had. If you like your matcha strong with a pronounced tea flavor, then this is for you. I get mine at 50% sweetness and it’s perfect. The pearls are always consistently chewy and cooked well, not too syrupy.
I noticed that the common interior design of Fat Fook is having the plates/bowl in their walls.<br/ <br/ And for the food, we ordered their Satay Stir Fries Beef Noodles, 2pcs Chicken Chop and Chicken Skin.<br/ We waited for like 20 minutes for our foods to be served. They served the Chicken Chop and Beef Noodles first. The noodles is good for 2-3 persons. The chicken chop they served us is big. And I thought they served our 2 pcs of Chicken Chop in a single tray. But to our surprise, they served another chicken chop. Their chicken chop is also good for sharing. The chicken skin is nothing new though. Their milktea has also a generous serving. Next time I dine here, might want to try their milktea.
