Only place to get pickled eggs!
The 2 recent negative reviews of this place are comical. New Mexico by law cannot take vertical ID. I am a single 30s woman, moved to the area ~7 months ago. This place is a down home local bar that also happens to have some convenience store items. The people here are nice. Don’t be a tourist or a douche from TX.
I'm a new comer to town and when I first went into this place I felt disliked. Getting service took a long time. Questions were answered abruptly and minimally. It was a young woman waiting on me. I avoided going in again but had to, and when an older man serviced me last time, he was very nice. Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

On November 23rd, day of Thanksgiving me and my partner went to get some wine coolers to celebrate. The man at the counter didn’t want to sell to us because we didn’t have a “paper” and our ids were vertical. I pulled out mines, which is from Illinois and still was denied. I’ve never had this to happen, and we both turned 21 this month. Will NEVER go here to spend our money. He even pretended to make up laws saying he couldn’t sell to our vertical IDs, which I gave my drivers license as well. Even pointing to nothing that was there.
