Mcdonald's Restaurants - Quesnel

Stopped by on a Sunday morning. Walked in, saw a small lineup so went to use the restroom. Placed my order, had a chat with a local, and received my food before someone else who had been waiting for over 12 minutes. However, I later realized my dark roast coffee was decaf, which was disappointing. The manager at the Quesnel McDonald's didn't seem to be doing a good job on a relatively quiet Sunday morning. I hope they can improve their service next time I pass through, or else I may choose to go to Tim Horton's instead.

I had breakfast at this restaurant twice in the span of four days while passing through. The food was fresh both times. The counter service could have been better, as it seemed like the employee might have been new or not trained properly on the register due to the self-service kiosks. Our special instructions were not initially followed, but they were corrected without any issues. The manager also seemed to have a less than ideal attitude. However, considering it's McDonald's, it is what it is.

This location no longer has a play area, just a bare room in its place, and is somewhat run down. We visited twice out of convenience while on a trip. The food is typical McDonald's fare, nothing exceptional. We all ordered meals. In the afternoon, we tried some donuts which were a bit disappointing, especially the glazed chocolate ones that appeared melted on display - likely from sitting out all day rather than being fresh from the oven. The staff, although friendly and nice, encountered some issues with our mobile order as they don't receive them often and their system flags them. They had to contact a manager to manually input our order, although it went through on the app. Despite this hiccup, the staff remained very pleasant.

It was a pleasant experience in Quesnel. Order was fresh and quickly served to us.

Had the absolute best chicken nuggets at this location. They must have been fresh out of the fryer cause they were hot and crispy and the chicken inside was moist and very flavourful. The new Cajun dipping sauce actually has some kick!
