From the moment you enter until you leave, this restaurant never fails to impress. The delightful smell of freshly baked goods tantalizes your senses and leaves you eager to taste. The friendly and efficient staff keep things moving smoothly, even during busy times. The clean glass display case filled with a variety of treats is a feast for the eyes. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is delicious. Parking is available on the street in front of the restaurant for a fee, but there is also ample free parking on nearby side streets if you don't mind a short walk.
Lulu is only one that I can count on their handmade cakes. Taste reminds me of Japanese cakes, not like too sweet. I'm so happy that cake shop is still there more than 20 years!
The bakery is fantastic, but the staff is unprofessional and extremely slow.

It is uncommon to find bakeries that excel in service, pricing, and atmosphere, but after visiting Lulu's bakery, it was no surprise to see why they are thriving. The cakes were outstanding - not overly sweet, with a soft and flavorful cake, all at a reasonable price. I wouldn't be surprised if they reached the same level of success as bigger bakeries like Martha's or Junior's. I highly recommend Lulu's bakery, a solid 10/10!
This is the BEST Italian bakery in Queens. The tiramisu delicious, the cannolis are as well. You will be satisfied with anything that you purchase here. Everything they offer is delicious.
My Husband's 46th Birthday. I don't want a cake, bakery has little mini cakes, different variety of dessert. So we got everyone favorites. Oh an let me not forget...Bread for Lasagna.....service was great...you ask ??? And staff is helpful...clean space...cakes were yummo...no disappointment...
It's the best tasting bakery around, especially for Thanksgiving pies.
So, now in the area for my own Doctor's visit. And as a regular contributor to Google maps I noticed that Lulu's doesn't appear where it should. It turns out that someone, trying to be helpful, no doubt, changed the address to: 179, 04/06 But Lulu's actual address is: 179-04 (and 179-06) The wrong address put it at St John's DaSilva Field Parking Structure. Fixed! Too nice a bakery to have the address wrong! I stopped in here while waiting for my wife who had a medical appointment. I wanted to get coffee and breakfast. They don't really do that, but perhaps they should. They do have a great array of cakes and pies and sweet stuff. So I had a coffee. They do serve coffee and I had to roll or something. The bagel shop in the area closed during the covid era as it were, and there is really no place where you can go to sit down and get a breakfast sandwich. Sandwich. There's a deli on the corner and other delis in the area but that's all to go. It would be nice to have a coffee shop/ bagel place.

We absolutely love Charlie's cakes - they are truly amazing! We recently ordered a baptismal cake for our son and it was a stunning work of art. We only trust Charlie for all our cake needs.

She was looking for a bakery near my daughter in Queens to make her favorite rainbow cake. After reading other reviews and confirming Lulu makes a rainbow cake, I ordered it via the phone. My daughter said it was the best rainbow cake she ever had! I agree. It was very moist with a lot of raspberry filling. This will be my bakery when I visit Queens.
Being there is like walking into a small piece of heaven.
My family bought my birthday cake from Lulu's this year. It was a yellow double layered cake with one layer of hazelnut and one layer of moca. I know it sounds weird but it was delicious! I will order it again for another event! And I would recommend this bakery to family and friends.

It's not the same as it used to be. We have visited a few times and were let down.
All the cakes were stale! The blueberries in them were starting to spoil! Another time, I bought some cannolis. The shop assistant assured us that we would really enjoy the cannolis. She should have warned us instead. They were so terrible that after just one bite, we had to throw them away! I have no idea how this place has such great reviews. I will never purchase anything from here again. Stay away!
When I say this I mean this with all my heart I do not have Covid. I bought multiple pastries from this place in a short time did not have a problem until now. The sweets here just taste like bread, butter and cream cheese. Some how the baker forgot to add sugar. How do you forget to add sugar? If I wanted a sandwich I would of just made one. They ruined multiple pastries in my box and I'm left disappointed and disgusted. How do you forget the sugar in all the pastries? Do not come on a Thursday its terrible.
This bakery is one of the best in the area. It is very clean and offers delicious pastries, coffee, and other fresh, daily-made treats.
I used to go to the original Lulu's so this is the first time being at the new bakery shop. Much bigger and it was very crowded only because it was day before Thanksgiving so a little bit chaotic and had to wait 20 minutes until they called my number. Worth the wait anytime. Their pastries cakes breads and pies are so very delicious. Friendly service too.
