Came in for lunch after a coworker recommended this place (Postal Workers love this place. . Staff was super friendly, restaurant was clean. The rotisserie chicken is amazing in flavor, juicy and overall the best. I had that with the yellow rice with gandules and it was the same way my mother makes it which made me happy.I will have to come before 1pm because the mangu finished and I want to try that next here. Highly recommended! I visited Evertz Cafe on a Saturday morning around 10am and was delighted to find that they still had the Dominican breakfast I was craving, as well as a variety of other steam table offerings. As soon as I walked in, Evertz Cafe felt like home thanks to the warm welcome, attentive service, and cultural representations of life in the Dominican Republic. Eating a Dominican breakfast outside of home can sometimes fall short, but not at Evertz Cafe. The mangu was soft, silky, and buttery, and all the accompanying items - from the egg to the longaniza, salami, and fried cheese - were cooked to perfection. The caramelized red onions with a citrus finish sealed the deal for me. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the meal, especially since my standards are high from growing up eating this dish cooked by my mother. I can't wait to return and try the rest of the menu. The food at Evertz Cafe tastes like a home-cooked meal, which is a rarity for most restaurants. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to take a picture because the food was devoured so quickly. Thank you, Evertz Cafe, for an amazing breakfast experience.
I ordered food from this restaurant for the first time and I'm so glad I did. The food was incredibly flavorful and amazing! I can't wait to order from here again.
I had a delicious meal at this restaurant and the staff was very accommodating. I will definitely be returning. This is one of the best Dominican restaurants in Brooklyn, without a doubt.
We had such a great experience using Evertz to cater our Babyshower! I highly recommend them! We booked them only 3 weeks before the shower and they were able to accommodate all of our needs. We mostly ordered breakfast items as I was having a baby shower brunch. I wish we had pictures but we didn't really think to take any until everything was gone! But everything was great! The bacon was crispy, the steak was well seasoned and everyone loved it. My favorite thing was the home fries. It was more like chunky roasted potatoes with onions and peppers and just delicious. I've never had home fries like that before and I just loved that it wasn't just this greasy mess. In fact nothing was too greasy at all. Everything was perfect. We added a shrimp salad last minute (the only picture we actually took and even that was delicious. We also had eggs (which I was able to have 2 different ways , sausage and French toast (We ended up eating left over french toast for like 3 days after! It held up well! . They sent the food with condiments and sauces. There was enough food, if not more than enough food for the number of guest I told them. The food was ready on time and they even helped load everything into the car for us. Every conversation I had with Patsy was a pleasant one. By the time I dropped off my last deposit, I felt like we were friends! It was really a great experience from beginning to end! Lastly, the pricing was more than reasonable for the amount of food we got! It was the lowest price I was quoted for the items I wanted. I will definitely use their catering services again and am happy to have them in the neighborhood for take out!
So so good. i get breakfast and lunch here at least once a week. SO good. please try the papaya smoothie when you can, a little bit of cinnamon is added and it makes so yummy. this has become my comfort place. everyone there is so nice and sweet. makes me feel very welcomed. :

I loved it! ordered a Dominican breakfast vía ubereats and what a pleasant surprise! they have taken care of details! very well packed, very well traveled, tasteful (picked the fried cheese their mangu was soft and the whole thing they feel is homemade eating. another Jewel: her arroz con leche! tastes exactly as the one I eat my childhood again when my aunt made it all the time. no regular reispudding taste! this review comes from someone always picky with the take-outs and deliveries, I am always disappointed when eating comes like a tornado of or low quality eating. not to mention when I look for certain things (as no wobble and the first thing I see when I open my food is a buck of stinking wobble with vinegar and ton oil! for such things I prefer to throw out that right to mum and cook my own food.) that was not the fall and I am glad!
I don't have much time to go there, but every time I can I go. I arrive with something in mind to eat and I take 5 varieties to go home! everything is good here! You need to go there! no tengo mucho tiempo para ir alli, pero cada vez q puedo voy. llego con algo en mente para comer y me llevo 5 variedades a casa! todo es rico aqui! ?

First time ordering food from here and so glad I did, the food was soooo flavorful and amazingggg! Looking forward to ordering from here again
Highly recommended! on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. and to our joy they still had what I was there (the Dominican breakfast) and the early’ish spread all their steam table offers. evertz cafe feels like at home as soon as she walks through the warm welcome, friendly attentive service and cultural representations of the island life in the Dominican Republic. eat something like Dominican breakfast everywhere, but at home is always something that has a certain amount of mules, until this morning in the evertz cafe. the mangu was soft, silky and buttery, the company of her fried friends from the egg, to the longaniza, to the salami, and finally the fried cheese were all perfectly cooked and with caramelized red planks, which seemed like a very pleasant citrus finish to them, sealed the deal for me. I could not believe that I enjoyed as much as I thought how high the standards can be when they grow up to eat that cooked to order from our mothers. I can't expect to come back and taste the rest of their menu, food and eat like a home cooked food that is a rare leak when produced in volumes for most places. they have no image to post because, how quickly the food was dedicated, thanks to evertz cafe for an amazing breakfast.
