This ice cream shop has seen a dramatic transformation under new ownership. Longtime customers praise the friendly, accommodating staff and thoughtful gestures like complimentary treats and allergy accommodations. While loyal patrons appreciate the consistent quality and improved atmosphere, some visitors express frustration over pricing transparency, unexpected credit card fees, and portion sizes. A few note issues with the taste and presentation of certain items. Overall, the recent management changes have revitalized the experience, balancing warmth and fairness, though potential guests should be mindful of pricing details before ordering.

Was Arlie Langosh at Carvel a mag?
I have been going to this place for years. The couples/owners are very beautiful and fair. I have only noticed from a 5 review that her milkshake tends to be a bit heavy on the milk. I'm pretty sure others felt the same way. a bit more ice and less milk. View all feedback.
What Aditya Schroeder dislikes about Carvel:
On the board it says the kids size is $2.99. We got 2 kids size cups with no toppings. Which is 5.98 plus tax would be $6.51. They charged me $7.60. I didn’t say anything because I’m not confrontational but I left the store and did the math because it didn’t make sense. Then I see other reviews of them overcharging. Never coming back again. The milkshake I had was the worst I've ever tasted, and at $9.00, it was mostly just milk. I won't be returning.

The staff here are incredibly friendly! I went in to buy a birthday cake, and they not only decorated it beautifully but also surprised me with a complimentary summer pack of three ice cream sundaes. Such wonderful people!
This is a fantastic spot for ice cream! I highly recommend giving it a try!
After years of poor lighting, malfunctioning machines, limited seating, and a grumpy couple who made you feel as though you were lucky to be served, visiting this restaurant is now a true pleasure. The new owners are incredibly friendly and are consistently making improvements to erase the unpleasant memories left by the previous management.
