A family birthday. christian and the personal were amazing. so patient and accommodating. that was delicious. will definitely put aka on our lists.
A so nice night with my cousins, we sat outside, sweet Greek music, nice environment, eating was great, I had the moussaka..best I had and I am Greek! great mood! I'm going to visit my next NY trip. our waiter was excellent. friendly and mock up!
Alias is one of my restaurants when friends and family are to be visited in the city. eating is consistently delicious, beautifully presented and the waiting staff is helpful and efficient. the outside seats are beautiful with beautiful weather.
We got to the restaurant and it was closed despite confirming this reservation the day before with open table. Very disappointing for the 5 of us and quite surprised that this happened with open table. The fact that they asked for our review of this restaurant means they didn't even know the restaurant was closed. Not sure I want to use open table in the future.
Aliada in Astoria is a hidden gem offering authentic Greek cuisine. While some reviewers found the service lacking, others praised the attentive staff and homey ambiance. The food was consistently delicious, with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented dishes. The outdoor seating area was a highlight, with cherry blossom tables and a cozy atmosphere. The menu offered a variety of options, from grilled octopus to baby lamb chops. Aliada is a great spot for families and couples alike, offering a memorable dining experience in a beautiful setting. Overall, Aliada is a must-visit restaurant in NY for Greek food lovers.

This is my preferred Greek restaurant in Astoria! I highly recommend it, 10/10! Christian is my go-to server.
This is one of our favorite Greek restaurants in Astoria. A wonderful family vibe, with attentive service and excellent, authentic Greek food. It embodies the heart of Astoria and we just love the place.
This restaurant is amazing, with gorgeous outdoor seating and impeccable service and food.
It was such a delight to enjoy beautifully prepared dishes in a charming little restaurant with attentive staff. This gem is definitely worth discovering!

Amazing cypress food with great outdoor seating. Will definitely be returning. Took my parents and wife and shared everything family style. We loved the complementary humus and pita. I had a great orange organic wine. The Quail, Bronzino, Grilled octopus and grilled squid were all great. My favorite was the Greek salad, lemon potatoes and the Lima beans. Everything from service, food and ambience were top notch. Coffee I wasn’t crazy about was a little light for me but the pastitsio was a great sharing size for 4. Honestly a really good meal that was a great experience for families and dates alike.
A hidden gem in astoria, from the welcoming service to the Amazing food and atmosphere. The ingredients are fresh and high quality, the service it’s on point with all our needs and branzino OMG!!! The pictures speak for themselves
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. The shareable plates are always a good option. Favorites include roast cauliflower, zucchini fritters, calamari and white fish. It’s a great place for vegetarians.
Great food, vibe and service! My mom said this place has the best salad. I agree- awesome Greek salad. Fresh everything. Fish was done perfectly. We ordered side of mushrooms and they were amazing. My mom also said they had the best potatoes. Definitely going back here. I have been looking for a great sit-down Greek restaurant for years, and I finally found it. Thank you!

Went by at almost closing time, not intentionally. Even still they were welcoming. Service was good with emphasis on friendliness. Owners son who waited visited with me, very nice young man. I ordered the baby lamb chops, delicious. They were a bit overdone but nothing worth complaining about. The potatoes we?re also delicious. Also enjoyed the fact they had a selection of Greek wines to go along with their cuisine. The ambience is that of which reminded me of the cafes in
One of the best Greek food I had. The watermelon salad is a must try here along with the grilled octopus. One of my favorite from this restaurant. The Resturant is tiny and cozy. Our waiter George was amazing at recommending different items of the menu. Can?t wait to be back to try more things.
Overall a great experience! The food was delicious! And the servers were very hospitable : the outdoor seating area has cherry blossom trees making it look so dreamy ???? Will definitely come back again !
Great place for Greek food. The octopus was delicious. It was nicely cooked and has a naturally sweet taste to the octopus. The meat platter had a good sampling of the meats. Next time, i probably would get the fish instead. When it does get crowded, it's pretty hard to get the waiter's attention though.
Came here for a late lunch, the restaurant was quite empty therefore we received a great service. Was sad I missed the cherry blossom tables outside look amazing under cherry trees ???? Ordered a Greek salad and grilled octopus. Both were good. Though I was not a big fan of the complimentary hummus and pita bread, it was a bit too hard. Aliada is nicely decorated and plays a lovely Greek music.

This is one of those reviews where 5 stars isn’t enough. The food here is extraordinary. The staff is so very attentive. And there is a delicious feel of the place. A true joy. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Food was good, but they got my order completely wrong (ordered salmon, got chicken). They said they 'd prepare the salmon and get it out asap... But rest of the party had finished their entrees and I still had no salmon. Expressed my displeasure, cancelled my order, got a so sorry , but nothing else. I decided to give 5 considering everything. Good food (4ish), great vibes, and nice staff. Luckily, food my friend and I ordered were all delicious than our expectations. In addition, huge portions. The whole fish was slightly pricy but worth a try. The day we went was also the day they just got the fish freshly, which made more sense to order. The smoke and grill smell nailed it with simple seasoning. The layered baby eggplant was a heavy one. But the taste was rich with juicy grounded meat inside. The cheese on the top also added additional flavors. Salad was pretty classic, but the add-on portion (we had gyro meat) was a lot! It was a little bit salty but still good. Complimentary pita and hummus was the only thing I have comments. It was kinda bland with the pure chickpea flavor, so did pita bread with flour taste. The best Greek food I’ve ever had! Cozy atmosphere, beautiful setting, and the most amazing staff. The service was incredible, making the whole experience unforgettable.

Horitaiki was good though it lacked dressing. The hummus was not good. It was very very oily and didn't taste good.
Aliada is my favorite Greek restaurant in Astoria, whether I’m ordering delivery or dining in. The food is always well-packaged and delivery is fairly quick. The Horiatiki, Chicken Kebab, and tzatziki are always spot on!
The best lemon potatoes I’ve ever tasted—so wonderfully lemony. I could easily order just the potatoes and finish the whole portion. The servings are generous, the prices very reasonable, and the food arrives piping hot. I really enjoyed the moussaka, which seemed to include a variety of vegetables (I think I spotted zucchini). As a fan of Gigantes, I found them very good, though I would have preferred a bit more garlic and dill. I will definitely be ordering again.
