I was Looking for a Non Chain type Coffee Shop that is Local and I drove over and was Delighted that this Coffee Shop is in a Christian Church as I just Assumed that it was another Typical Coffee Business. What Positive Affirmation doesn't like about Rock Point Coffee Co.:
Okay, I love the atmosphere. Coffee on the other hand, tasted like pickle juice. I have had terrible coffee but this was probably the most disgusting espresso I have ever tried in my entire life. So bad I considered my purchase a donation and threw it away. They have to figure that out. I mean it, it was horrible. How can coffee, not taste like coffee, and some how taste like pickle juice? Went for cars and coffee. My son got hot chocolate. He liked it a lot. Quick and friendly service. Will look to get more coffees next time. Wish they have more pastry options.
Iced caramel latte was very smooth and the coffee cake was moist and flavorful. They have a lot of seating because this is a church/high school/coffee shop. Probably not a place to do any work or read unless you have headphones and don't mind a couple hundred high schoolers yelling obscenities.
Visited this for a Cars Coffee event went the second SAT. Great Show over 300 collector cars trucks clean parking area super coffee shop nice people friendly, Chuck
