We tried to order surf and turf/ Terre de mer, and... read more Worst restaurent in Quebec city (would like to give 0star). Me and my friend visited this place from Ottawa. We tried to order surf and turf/ Terre de mer, and the store manager(or owner) told us there 's no order called Terre de met. I saw it on the screen, so I tried to take photo of it, and show it too him. As I was trying to take a photo of it, he imedietely changed his words and told us there is a menu calls d Terre de mer . And he laughed at us for no reason. I learned French for more than 10 years, and can fully understand French. So when he was making 3 of our orders, he talked to his co-worker in French, by trash talking us and saying we were crazy and swearing at us! I did not respond in French because I didn 't wanted to argue with him. As we got our 1st menu, we ordered shrimp pad-thai, the manager instead gave us chicken pad-thai(wrong order). It seems like the manager doesn 't know the store 's menu and can 't make it. As well As, have a bad manner and called us a fool and insulted us. I would like to tell every customer of this restaurant, if you seem like you can 't speak French, the manager and workers will talk behind you guys and even swear in French. Since we cant speak French. Don 't ever go to this store, and we will never come back.

The restaurant is su... read more Service not good The food is usual like other Thai Express, but the service is terrible. I went today (17 August at 7:15pm) with my family. The restaurant is supposed to be open until 9pm, but the two staff at the counter told us that they can only take our order if we are fine with take away. We agreed, but they refused to serve many customers as they wanted to eat inside the restaurant. This was very unprofessional on a weekend evening when everyone was way within the time limit. Probably the staff just wanted to avoid the hassle of cleaning tables afterwards. Should be taken care of. Thanks.

People, especially tourists, needs to understand that this restaurant isn't a restaurant at all but simply fast-food service. It's like if Quebecois wanted to eat a poutine in a restaurant based in Thailand; it's probably not gonna taste as tasty as in Quebec. Thai Express is like McDonalds. If you're expecting to have a AAA steak quality; you're gonna be disappointed. So if you want something fast and tasty enough to fill your empty stomach after a hangover, that'll do the job but expect more than that.
