Sushi X - Québec

I have eaten at Sushi X four times in less than two weeks and it has been consistently good each time. They offer a decent pre-made, pre-packaged selection that I enjoy. The venue may not be fancy, but if you're craving sushi, it's the place to go for a quick fix.

If you are a sushi lover in Quebec, you must visit Sushi x. After trying every sushi restaurant in Quebec, I can confidently say that Sushi x offers the best and most affordable sushi I have ever tasted. The pieces are large and generously topped with fish, unlike other places where you often pay a high price for small portions. The servings are so satisfying that just two rolls and an appetizer will leave you feeling full. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is friendly. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, sushi is only $1.25 per piece, ensuring both quality and great value.

This restaurant is excellent. The sushi is fresh, as one would expect, and there is a nice selection to choose from. The service is also good. The wine selection is a bit limited, but they all pair well with the sushi. There are a few options for larger groups as well. The restaurant is very clean overall. It's a great place to enjoy a pleasant dining experience.

We celebrated a friend’s birthday at Sushi X and had a wonderful evening. Don’t let the suburban strip mall location fool you. The atmosphere is very nice, especially the private dining rooms for 7 – 12 people. You have a paper panel between the rooms, cushions and on the floor and slippers when you remove your shoes ….Next time we will definitely reserve one! We started with Calamari, Duck Rolls and a salad – all were exceptional. For dinner we choose different levels and portions of the Chef’s Sushi choice. They cannot tell you what you will get, but you can let them know an allergy or strong dislike. One guest also ordered the bird’s nest dinner. All were very good. The sushi is very fresh, the flavors delicious – although the slices could be cut a bit thinner. The bird’s nest dinner was tasted, but now quite as hot as our guests would have liked. Service was good, although we had to wait for our checks – it was a busy Saturday night. We will surely return another time, especially with friends in a private room!

Ohhh Sushi XI really crave some good sushi when in Quebec travelling for work, but it's just on the lower side of okay for me.
