It is hard to find lower cost meals in the old city. This is a small place and was very busy when we were there, but the food is worth it. Middle eastern sandwiches to go are the best. I had a great falafel sandwich there. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Restaurant Liban:
Went in with low expectations due to reviews. Food was OK. I hate eating with plastic forks and styrofoam plates so that didn't help. It's OK if you need a quick meal and aren't spending time sitting around, as there is no real ambience in the place. It's counter service. I would liken it to a food court experience at the mall. Two dinner plates (beef and chicken shwarma) and 2 soft drinks were $35. View all feedback.
A small place inside the Old Town on Rue D’Auteuil near the Porte Saint-Jean, it’s a nice spot for a taste of Lebanese food. The owner must be proud of his or her roots as a map of Lebanon was on the wall. It is likely more a takeaway place but there are 20 seats inside. Had the shish kaouk, a pita wrap with chicken, lettuce, tomatoes and mayonnaise. It was fresh and light, the right portion for a warm afternoon.
Rude host Poor service I asked for an extra fork and host said she already gave me one.. and these were plastic forks not stainless steel silverware. The sandwich barely had any chicken in it, the restaurant was full of smoke and trash was overflowing Please stay away from this restaurant
This is a fast food place with a few tables. My dinner was very good. i had a platter with shish tawook, rice, salad, and pita.
Food is okey but service is terrible, especially when it’s a little bit crowded they will treat you like if they where doing you a favor
Happened upon this place while wandering today, by far the best lunch we had on our trip to Quebec City. We had Shish Taouk and Shwarma sandwiches and shared tabouli. So authentic, fresh, flavourful and well priced. Our lunch was under 20$. The owner was very friendly and helped us make a selection and recommended a spot for us to have dinner that evening. If your looking for a light lunch that isn't a tourist grab while walking old Quebec this is your place !
