Pleasant restaurant, nice server. Bilingual service. We sat outside. This is close to the train station. This place has food from a lake region north of Quebec City. The patrons next to me were from that area and said it was authentic. The rolls were the best bread I've ever had! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Restaurant La La:
Our reservation was noted, but we had to wait a long time for the bill after finishing our meal. The restaurant owner may want to consider ways to improve efficiency and turnover. The food was good, including the appetizers, entrees, desserts, and drinks, but the long wait may deter me from returning. View all feedback.

My friend and I went to Restaurant Là Là last weekend. Even though we were a little bit early, (5:00pm and they open at 5:30pm), the owner welcomed us with a nice smile and we sat on the terrace. My friend had the Tourtière and I had the Prime Pork roast with yellow potatoes. The food was EXCELLENT and very tasteful. The waitress was very caring and friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant!
We try to stay away from the more popular tourist spots and find hidden gems. This restaurant is definitely one of those. Three young gentlemen provide not only excellent food but very friendly charm. Add some interesting California wines and you will have a great afternoon or evening.
As it happened, our hotel (Pur) was in a great funky neighbourhood (St Roch) and to walk downtown our route too us past the Gare (train station) and the cool park right across from it. Just across from there is Lala. It was our first meal in Québec, and it was great. Everything was very fresh and flavourful and prepared with the French quality that is what makes Québec special.
We were sent here by the concierge at our hotel. We asked her to recommend a family friendly place (children 14 and 11) that had good food but did not require us to get dressed up. The restaurant is small and had a rustic feel to it. The only person working was a man behind the bar who immediately welcomed us and led us to our table.Though he was the only one working the bar, clearing tables and serving, you never had to wait for anything and you were never rushed. He went through the menu with us and suffered through our attempts at speaking French with a smile. The restaurant seemed to be a mix of locals and tourists. The menu is small, only 5 or 6 entrees. We had the pork, beef and meat pie as entrees and the crab as an appetizer. We then had deserts of ice cream, blueberry pie and carrot cake. Everything was fantastic!
