The entrance is pretty weird, it gives the impression of the blurred restaurant. We hesitated to enter and decided when a passerby is coming by saying that it was excelent and that we should not hesitate for a second. Once inside the atmosphere is nice (karaoké thai and pretty decor) it is the first time that I feel the sweet flavor in the dishes (noix and ginger) very good value price. menu 4 services (soupe admissi... What User doesn't like about Restaurant Dana:
We are there the whole family and had several starters, mains and desserts. What all servings had in common was that it was unauthentic and way below standards. We left 3 of the main dishes untouched and explained the waiter that the dishes were uneatable. He got offended and walked away. Our starters were mixed up and in wrong numbers. The same happened with the desserts. The waiter was completely confused and uneng... View all feedback.
My friend and I were searching for a place to have dinner in Quebec City. We chose this restaurant because it had many available tables. However, we quickly realized why it had so many openings. The service was extremely slow and it was evident that many of the dishes were either reheated or fried. The food was supposed to be Thai, but it tasted like generic Asian cuisine and wasn't very good. I didn't end up finishing most of my meal. The tapioca pudding was an unnatural lime green color and had a strange chlorine taste. The outdoor patio was littered with dirty dishes that hadn't been cleared away. It seemed like dishes from inside were being brought out to the patio. The staff was friendly, but the quality of the food did not justify the price we paid.
There are several restaurants grouped together, but at 11 am the one I was interested in was not open until noon. They offer lunch specials in the $11-12 range, which include soup, dessert, and tea. I tried the curry, which was not very spicy and was neither good nor bad, but the price was reasonable, especially for Quebec. The owner/server was not very friendly and only smiled when I mentioned that he was on TripAdvisor. It's not a bad choice unless you're looking for something exceptional. There is a nearby Ecolobus stop as well.
We had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant on our trip to Quebec. It was a very busy time being summer holidays and we had to wait but they seated us relatively quickly. The owner was terrific, very friendly and chatty. The meal was nice and reasonably priced. Loved the atmosphere
My group of three enjoyed a delightful afternoon lunch at Dana. The restaurant was comfortably air-conditioned for the summer, and Asian videos played on a screen in the background. We each ordered a lunch special - chicken skywars, pad thai, and ginger chicken. Each special came with 2 imperial rolls, a delicious Asian chicken soup, and rice (except for the pad thai). For dessert, we all chose the tasty fried pineapple. The prices for these complete meals ranged from $9.95 to $12.95, making it a great value. The food was fresh and flavorful. The menu offered a variety of dinner options from different Asian traditions, making it a great spot for dinner as well. I would not hesitate to recommend Dana and look forward to returning in the future.
While my sister and I were exploring Quebec, we stumbled into this quaint Thai restaurant to get out of the rain, warm up, and just have a snack.
