We stayed at the attached Hotel Royal William and free continental breakfast was provided but we opted to pay a bit more for a hot breakfast and has excellent omelettes each day. Granted we were there early, it was only 6 pm, but there was no one else in the restaurant. And I guess they weren't expecting a lot of traffic because there was only 1 waiter. There are plenty of choices on the menu for all...tastes. The tartare was ok (2 of us had different tartares and it was neither excellent nor awful, just ok) View all feedback.

Excellent quality food and choice in a warm and friendly art deco atmosphere. Bright window set on main street with interesting architectural views.
This is the restaurant that is attached to the Royal Willam Hotel. It is always busy in the afternoon and evening, however we only ate here at breakfast time. The service was quick and the food was good and not expensive. They use homemade bread...for their French toast and their toast and the eggs were always done to perfection. They also have an option for a continental breakfast if you’re not too hungry. The lunch and dinner menu looked good but we didn’t ever eat there so I can’t comment on it. With every breakfast they offer free coffee and juice which is a nice touch. A good option for breakfast.
Use this restaurant for breakfast with the hotel it is attached to. Food is ok. Not excellent but very passible. A little pricey. Service was very good and when we had an issue with a breakfast we received a new plate of food.
We came for breakfast today and found it great .good value nice people. So returned this evening .veal dishes very tasty .busy but not too much.
A friend and I were in Quebec City for one evening in early September. After checking out a few local restaurants we opted for La Queue de Veau. Very pleased with our choice excellent food and service. The genuinely charming waiter was especially impressed...with my attempts to pronounce my menu choices in French ! Excellent !
