After walking for a bit and passing by several spots we decided this spot would do. We were extremely pleased with what we found. Warm apple and Camembert salad was fantastic as well as pizza, spaghetti, veal cannelloni, and manicotti. Service was a little slow but food quality made up for that. We enjoyed so much we came back a second time in our 5 days and sent others as well. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Piazzetta Restaurant:
Wouldn't really rate this anything as anything special. Food and service where average and it seemed a bit expensive given that we only had a main course and a beer each. View all feedback.
We hadn't been to a Piazzetta in a long time and we've been very disappointed with our meal. The service was very slow despite the restaurant being almost empty (well over 30 minutes to get a simple pizza, no starter, and we had a one year old to entertain in the meantime). The pizzas were almost sauceless, and hardly any toppings on. Tasteless, bland, very bad. Service was average. I would also like point out that the toilets were not that clean and no changing table was available.
We stopped for a quick lunch and had a pizza that was half pepperoni and half mushrooms and peppers. We both are fans of thin crust pizza and this was good. The beer was good also. Little shy on attention from the staff but otherwise a good experience
Incredible food at a very good price, good pizzas recommend totally the vegetarian deluxe and they have also good coffee
This was one more fabulous meal in Quebec City! I had a salad of asparagus in prosciutto and a personal sized pizza with salmon and brie and a couple glasses of wine. Mama mia! It was all so good, and the waiter/owner was helpful and friendly, the place was warm and welcoming and intimate. I was by myself and loved every minute. GO!
Things are pricier in Canada nowadays (ah, sweet revenge for all those years of demonizing Canadian quarters!), especially with the flat tax and an exchange rate that slaps the U.S. dollar, but for a reasonable place to eat that also features excellent food, try Piazzetta (I believe there are several locations). Good beer on tap, gourmet pizzas, try-to-be-bilingual staff, and nice ambience made this our favorite returned-to restaurant. And let me repeat the word "gourmet"; their pizzas were perfectly baked and presented. The other comparably priced restaurants we visited (in the $40-$50 range for lunch/dinner with beer or wine) weren't half as good.
