Curata. Servizio attento con sommelier accurato. Menù vario con materie prime d'eccezione (i salumi ottimamente stagionati, formaggi che non hanno nulla da invidiare ai migliori europei). Aragosta in risotto eccellente. Il dessert al cioccolato associato al sorbetto ai frutti di bosco ben presentato e preparato. Chez Muffy... eccellente... parola di una Italiana esigente!

The... read more Since we loved everything about our experience at the Auberge Saint Antoine, we were expecting the same quality in the restaurant. Breakfast was excellent. The egg dishes were always very hot and tasty, and the service was very good. On our last night in Quebec, we had dinner at Chez Muffy. The ambience was beautiful, and there was a fire in the fireplace, which enhanced the atmosphere. Unfortunately the food did not live up to our expectations. The menu is very limited and even more so for someone who does not eat seafood. The cipollini tart was made with pearl onions, not cipollinis, the crust was almost impossible to cut, and it was not very tasty. For his entrée, my husband had the pasta dish, which was also tasteless. I had the halibut, which was prepared perfectly but smeared with an odd tasting herb topping and a sauce which detracted from the fish. The service for a restaurant of this standing left a lot to be desired. We had two excellent dinners our first 2 nights in Quebec City in the upper town and ended our stay on a bad note in Chez Muffy. We would definitely return to this wonderful hotel but not to their restaurant for dinner.

The dining room offers a warm and romantic ambience that is hard to top and our server, Max, was terrific. Thoroughly enjoyable dining experience!
