Went on a Saturday night 2 adults 2 kids. We don't speak French well so had a bit of trouble understanding where we had to pay for parking and where was free, and on first walking in the door we weren't able to explain our language barrier so was a bit confusing at first. They do have a few awesome bilingual servers on staff so we did eventually get there! The kids menu and pizza was very yummy and the service was gr... View all feedback.
What Fernando A doesn't like about Pacini:
To be fair this place is a big deception. I’m a huge lover of the italian food and each diferent restautrant have his own secret a flavor in his food. But this, OMG, the worst spaghetti of my life, cold, with out taste, bad condimented. A disaster, the only can I save is the pizza. And other thing, the prices are huge! View all feedback.
We were having a family outing in a village near by because of the local festivities and decided to have a late lunch at 3PM the place was well appointed but with some areas not to clean like the bread counter which noticed the floor quite overlooked and with a lot of unclean bread particles, we order some drinks specifically 3 glasses of Prosecco but we were surprised to receive them not cold not chilled we send them back, this was not the only incident that lunch the food was served tasteless and not hot enough we tried Pasta with Portobello mushrooms, no taste perhaps the water used for cooking all pasta was not seasoned no salt .... same hapened with the other plates of table the Alfredo Pasta with chicken, and a seafood pasta, the appetizers Calamari and Mozzarella buffalo were quite ok. I really do not recommend this place until unless they change the service and Quality Standards. The restaurant Manager was very polite and and responded with some gratuity voucher for next visit which was a nice gesture but this do not deter the bad experience
A short drive from our Hotel Plaza, my daughter and I decided to eat at Pacini after our shopping trip to the Quatre Bourgeois Mall.It was not very busy but the service was slow; slow to greet and seat, slow to order drinks and get them; same goes for taking the order and getting our food. Our server was nice.On the other hand, the food was delicious, the menu offers lots of choices. We had no room left for desserts but they looked divine. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is relaxed, we enjoyed it, thankfully we were not in a hurry. We would go again.
Wasn't sure about the Italian in Quebec City but Pacinis was nice. I had the pasta which was delicious. The bread bar was an interesting touch, this method of toasting isn't seen in the US. Wasn't the all time best Italian food I've ever had but was good so I would return if the opportunity presented itself.
Adult family of 5 seated in booth but lighting was so poor we had to use phone camera app to read the menu. Servings ample & service good. Tortellini was a total disappointment, very bland. Pizza good. Steak average to good ranking. Linguini with shrimp just average. Good wine selection. Bread bar a positive note to the dining experience.
Great atmosphere and excellent food. We all left full and happy as usual! They didn't carry veal meatballs that I really enjoy at Pacini in Calgary. The Frites are a family favourite as well as the bread bar!
