Pacini - Québec
Pacini
Description
The Italian restaurant in Quebec City has received mixed reviews from customers. Some complain about the poor quality of the food, with tasteless and not well-seasoned dishes, while others praise the atmosphere and excellent service. One highlight for many was the bread bar, with mouthwatering grilled bread and various spreads. Overall, while some found the experience disappointing with bland dishes, others enjoyed the great food and atmosphere, including a memorable experience with grilled chicken and courteous service.

The main dish was cold. I'm very disappointed. I hadn't been to Pacini in years, and what a disappointment it was.
This restaurant has a lovely and friendly atmosphere with a warm, family-like vibe, and the food is delicious. At first, we were a bit hesitant because of the 3.9 rating, but it turned out to be a fantastic experience. Since we don't speak French, the manager/owner helped us out by finding an English-speaking waitress to ensure we felt comfortable. We highly recommend this place!
Absolutely fantastic! The food does take some time to prepare, but in the meantime, you can enjoy complimentary bread! You can even make it into toast with a BBQ flair and choose from five different toppings. The staff is exceptionally friendly. Our older waiter was incredibly polite. The food is delicious, and surprisingly, the coffee is even better than Starbucks. They offer a variety of Italian dishes, including pizza, meat, and several vegetarian options. I can't emphasize enough how wonderful the experience was, and the dessert is also outstanding. I had the dessert with the fruit bowl and crumbles, and I highly recommend it. Thank you!
It dosen't look like anyone is running this restaurant. I recently had dinner here with a group. The service was very, very slow. The food terrible. The lasagna was like shoe leather and appeared to have been reheated a few times so was very dried out. I had a few bites and left the rest. A small glass of wine. The bill including the taxes and tip came to $40.00. Way too expensive for pasta. I only saw two people working there that evening. If they have no employees for the evening meal they should stick to breakfasts only! I won't be going back and I won't recommend this place to anyone.
We were having a family outing in a village near by because of the local festivities and decided to have a late lunch at 3PM the place was well appointed but with some areas not to clean like the bread counter which noticed the floor quite overlooked and with a lot of unclean bread particles, we order some drinks specifically 3 glasses of Prosecco but we were surprised to receive them not cold not chilled we send them back, this was not the only incident that lunch the food was served tasteless and not hot enough we tried Pasta with Portobello mushrooms, no taste perhaps the water used for cooking all pasta was not seasoned no salt .... same hapened with the other plates of table the Alfredo Pasta with chicken, and a seafood pasta, the appetizers Calamari and Mozzarella buffalo were quite ok. I really do not recommend this place until unless they change the service and Quality Standards. The restaurant Manager was very polite and and responded with some gratuity voucher for next visit which was a nice gesture but this do not deter the bad experience
