This is a mid-range but very good restaurant. The service is good and although the waiters work their socks off with the volume of customers, they are friendly helpful and efficient. What User doesn't like about Oncle Antoine Pub:
We had a drink here on our way back from the Frontenac. I really wanted a Mojito but they said they had no mint. So I had a Tremblay beer which I didn't enjoy and didn't finish. DH had a White Beer which he enjoyed. DD had a Nachos but didn't finish them either. The waiter came over and said he was going off shift and would I miss me paying? I said no and offered my credit card and he said would I mind following him... View all feedback.
We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on a chilly November evening while taking Christmas photos in the area. When we saw a sign advertising mulled wine, we knew we had to check it out.
Situated in the historic Old Port neighborhood, this restaurant boasts walls that are 3 feet thick.
This place is amazing, with fantastic staff, delicious food, and a charming atmosphere. It's a must-visit spot. Don't hesitate to come in - it's warm and inviting.

Great atmosphere in an old building.Good food well prepared, we went there twice in our 4 day stay it is well situated at the beginning of the dock area in the old town. There were enticing French dishes on the menu and the waiters were knowledgeable about the wine and beer. I described the sort of beer I like and he turned up with a great local brew, can't ask for more. And then he did it again with the wine! Different waiters on the 2 occasions we went there, both did it well = well trained

I said no and offered my credit card and he said would I mind following him to the bar to pay. I thought this was all a bit weird and irritating to be honest. The bill was $24.75 and I see I gave a $4.30 tip which I thought was generous in the circumstances!
