At a local buffet restaurant, the brunch experience leaves much to be desired. Diners report disappointing quality in staples like scrambled eggs, bacon, and coffee, with the overall food lacking flavor and freshness. Some found the temperature of dishes inconsistent, with many served lukewarm or cold. While the variety of offerings, including sushi, received slight praise, the execution fell short, leaving guests struggling to piece together a satisfactory meal. On a positive note, the service, particularly from a standout waitress, provided a bright spot in an otherwise underwhelming dining experience. Overall, expectations were not met at this revamped establishment.

What Anonym dislikes about Maison de Jade:
We met friends from QC here to have lunch - at their commendation. I can't say positive things about the food here. It was quite terrible. I'm not a fans of buffet as I never eat enough to make up for the price, but I left this place hungry. On the positive note, the restaurant was fairly empty and the price was not too high. Never again never. Never again. Jade 2.0's house, it's pretty jade house 0.0000000 (as note) no person to welcome you, the world passes you and goes, your presence disturbs. the food is dry fade (person for spinning and no new filling). At 8:50, the guy who was supposed to do the skewer and handle the hot plate, scratched it and shut it off, though the waitress told him we have customers who just came back, he said the kind, we didn't give a **** about it. Of course, the mapac should take a tour, the rosbives (person in place to serve you by the way) were beside the heated baths dismantled, rooms with the greasy steam that packs the meats of its flavor (this meat was wrapped in plastic foil for the customers of the next day). I took coke at will, I had three fills of a blackish liquid without the least bubble (probably poured into pitchers for hours). Ah yes, when we arrived, there was only one sushi except for a vegetarian sushi pyramid that even a pet would refuse to eat and there were still dry and dangerous seafood ceviches to the point that pathogenic bacteria would probably not live long in it. In the end, even if I refuse to put photos or videos and that we usually do only positive comments to encourage goodwill, but it was so horrible for an invoice of $59 that by feeling really assaulted my spouse and myself and I will end up saying, if we have a training of garagiste, for example, we avoid please, to, open or to buy good night resaurants

I want to make it clear that this review is only for the brunch menu. I only tried items like eggs, bacon, and sausages, as I wasn't feeling up to trying anything else due to what I had been drinking. I understand that buffet brunches may not always offer high-quality food, but I found the offerings at this restaurant to be particularly disappointing. The coffee was barely tolerable, and the scrambled eggs and bacon were quite odd tasting, especially considering they are not exotic ingredients. Aside from the sausage and toast (which were average), there wasn't anything noteworthy. The service was decent, which is why I am giving it a rating of 2 instead of 1.

Skip this place. I'm not sure if it's a regional difference, but Quebec definitely does not meet the same standards for buffet restaurants as Ontario.

We visited the Saturday night buffet. The food lacked flavor and the prices were too high for the quality of the dishes. However, the service was excellent.
