We found this new café at just the right time on our walking tour through Quebec City. It was the middle of the day and we were hungry, but didn't want to spend a lot of money on food. Despite the many eatery options, this attractive little restaurant caught our eye and we decided to stop in. The staff were very friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. The cozy, inviting atmosphere was the perfect place to rest our tired feet. The food was made to order, and it was soon evident that all the ingredients were fresh. My first time, I had the veggie fries (yes, it was so good, we came back again before we left). These were a pleasant surprise. It is a mix of different vegetables that are thinly sliced, breaded and fried. As an American, I have tasted many fried foods, and these were the best veggie fries I've had. It is obvious that the chef takes pride in his work. On our second visit, I had the regular potato fries, which were cooked to just the right level of crispiness and seasoned well. The menu is uncomplicated and includes modern comfort foods that anyone might enjoy, but it is served with a delicious Moroccan flair.

Avoid this overpriced chip hut, unless you're looking for a bad poutine and burger for 25$, you can get better at mcdonalds.
