Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant in Old Town offers a gluten-free menu, but the food may require extensive modifications. The prices are high, and service can be slow. Despite some hiccups, the dishes like duck, rabbit, and desserts were tasty. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, but be prepared for a long wait if you don't have a reservation. If you're a fan of duck and rabbit dishes, this spot is a must-try in Quebec City. Overall, the food, cocktails, and service are excellent, but be prepared for the possibility of encountering rude staff.
Enjoyed our meal here Monday night and the tasty duck and rabbit dishes. The waitress was knowledgeable and helpful with food and wine pairings. The only disappointment was the maple creme brûlée- the crust was good but the custard was grainy. Our biggest issue was the lack of reservations. We put our name on a list and we were told to come back in 30 minutes. We went for a drink and returned to learn we had missed our turn. ( no ability on the restaurant's part to call or text us) That meant we dropped to the bottom of the list and by now it was raining heavily and we faced another 30 minute wait. Frustrating.
What a charming restaurant! Staff is very friendly and their cuisine is delicious. They specialize in rabbit which I have never eaten before and I wish I could say we did not like it but we did. My boys couldn't get enough of the pate, foie gras, and rabbit. Charming neighborhood worth strolling before your reservation or after. Reservations are a must.
