We paid for just drinks and a couple of times I went to the bar to give the order myself. They are very aggressive in terms of...tips and if you don’t give they will claim they will have to pay it from their own pocket to make you feel bad. The tips is at my discretion and it was not stated on the menu that you gave to give percent minimum . Please do NOT go at any cost . You are better off spending your money on another (maybe even fine dining restaurant and will end up paying much less that food

We don't understand which kind if business doesn't allow a young couple with a sleeping baby...to have a drink. It is not a disco, it's a normal bar in the middle of the town!! I hope you get in bankrupt early

The food at Bar Essen was great, the music selection was enjoyable, and the beer choices were impressive. We've added it to our list of must-visit spots for our next trip to town.
