I recently visited a great small to medium-sized American restaurant in the Limoilou region. The menu was excellent and the service was friendly and efficient. I definitely plan on returning, although I may have to teach them about alcoholic beverages that can be made with tamarind juice, as they currently only have a non-alcoholic version available. Nevertheless, this place is definitely worth a visit. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about La Salsa:
I'm sorry but it's a Salvadoran restaurant not mexican, I asked for chicken tostada and what a surprise no chicken, many lettuce, also I asked for burrito with beef, chorizo, another surprise, only beans and it isn't a burrito, it's a taco bean. Service is slow, but they are friendly... But the food it's not good. View all feedback.
Great food at a faire price ! Although there is not a lot of options for 5 oz or 8 oz of wine. But overall great experience!
Great little gem of a restaurant showcasing authentic El Salvadorian cuisine. We enjoyed creating our own plate and selecting the items that were most appealing to us. They have a great menu with a huge variety of drinks and dishes to select from. This is a fairly busy restaurant and therefore service was a little slow, but it is well worth the wait. If you enjoy dining out based on the decor or the look of a restaurant then this place may not live up to your standards. The food is excellent and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend that you at least give them a chance to impress you.

This restaurant serves the best Mexican food that tastes like a home-cooked meal. Our waitress was extremely helpful in translating the menu for us. The variety of options on the menu is fantastic considering the small size of the restaurant. This place is a must-visit!
