La Maison Smith

Description

With a mix of positive and negative reviews, this Quebec City restaurant offers vegan options alongside baked goods and sandwiches. Some customers found the vegan tempeh wrap to be good but pricey, while others disliked the service and wet croissants. However, there were also compliments about the welcoming courtyard, delicious pastries, and fantastic chocolate croissants. Despite some inconsistencies, the overall vibe is a decent spot for a quick meal or a pleasant break. Vegan options include cookies, pizza, and salads, making it a suitable choice for plant-based eaters exploring the lower town area.

This buttery croissant is to die for. Super soft and fluffy that make me want to order more. Macarons is just a amazing flavour that I have no words. Highly recommended to try out!

Decent drinks and good looking pastries and baked goods. Definitely worth it for lighter breakfast or dinner on the go. Looks like a good spot to do some WiFi work away from home. Prices are in line with most coffee house/specialty bakeries. Had a hazelnut latte and almond croissant.

What a place! I would’ve given more stars if there was a such option. Music playing in the background, calm attitude of employees and best service creates such positive and soothing vibes. Staff is so friendly and helpful while taking and serving orders. Definitely recommend and will come back for sure whenever I pass through Quebec city

A cland and.cemtral spot. Food was great. We got the seafood chowder and clams with fries for the adults and kids got spaghetti. A great little spot close to all the touristic spots. We ate and got grounded and enjoyed the ambient environment. Thanks for hospitality

Such a cute little coffee shop near the church. COFFEE: freshly brewed and good quality. PASTRY: I came in later in the afternoon so not much things left. The macaroons and puff pastry were great. I wish I could try more pastry there. VIBE: it can't be more French vibe than this. The place has really nice decor. I was sitting in the patio on a rainy afternoon enjoying my coffee. And the shop is on a busy street in old Quebec. This was the best experience I had at a coffee shop.
