**A Culinary Journey: Discovering the Delights and Challenges of an African Bistro**

This African restaurant has garnered attention for its exceptional food, with many patrons praising the fresh, scratch-cooked meals and generous portions. Signature dishes, like garba and various fish preparations, often leave a lasting impression. However, the experience can be marred by inconsistent service, from long wait times to uncommunicative staff. Some diners have expressed disappointment regarding undercooked items and lack of attention to dietary preferences. Despite these challenges, the restaurant remains a cozy spot, celebrated for its vibrant flavors and unique beverages, making it a must-try for adventurous eaters willing to be patient.

Zero points, it doesn't taste like a real chicken tchep. No cabbage in the dish or carrot or tomato sauce in the rice. Extra vegetables? Only onions and pieces of peppers. Plus it's badly cut. Change

Came all the way from Halifax, Nova Scotia. And the food was everything! And the Nigerian lady who spoke English was super friendly! I say this as a Chef at my own restaurant in Halifax… Franyz Kitchen.

The service at this restaurant, especially from the staff at the pyramid, is quite poorly handled, even over the phone. The food was nothing special. The braised mutton I ordered lacked any spices or flavor and was simply mushy. The prices are too high for such poorly prepared meals. If you’re unable to deliver quality, perhaps it’s time to consider a change in profession. It's quite frustrating; I wouldn't serve that to anyone, let alone sell it. Had I known, I would have preferred to buy my own rice and mutton for $60 and prepare it myself.

The portions here are enormous! I had the garba meal, which includes attieke, tuna, plantain, and vegetables. It's a feast! Just be prepared to take your time and enjoy the experience.
