We visit for a quick Poutine as a snack after arriving in Quebec. The staff was courteous and spoke to us in English to confirm our order after we ordered in French. The regular size is actually big enough for 2 people. Recommended if you don't mind the fast-food ambience. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Chez Ashton:
Since I was told to go to Ashton to try their famous poutine, I am a resident of the Montreal area and I was on a visit to Quebec. We went there and my wife in the afternoon this Saturday. they currently have a promotion of 3 p. meat bread, baby poutine and fountain drink for 8.50$ cdn. My wife liked the meat-bread and the fries of the poutine are not too fat. I'm on my side a cheeseburger with baby poutine and pepsi... View all feedback.
Can't go wrong with poutine. The staff was patient with us not speaking French

Ashton leblond, the owner, is the king of the poutine in the Québec region. it also invented other dishes typical of Quebec that you will enjoy. its restaurants are well-kept, very clean and the staff is welcoming.
For the poutine it is clearly the best a quebec ashton restaurant make good food
I love the ashton poutine, but after two stops in a row at the hamel restaurant I confirm that their poutine is the worst in town.
