Cafe Al Van Houtte - Québec

A regular Van Houtte coffee shop. Nothing special but nothing wrong either! Coffee was ok, ambiance good.

Great breakfast, very good coffee, free wifi. Quick and convenient. Located right t the hotel.

The woman behind the counter was rude, and became argumentative when two customers (one of them was me) approached to accept food from her. After giving it to me, she quickly snatched it back, despite the other customer's insisting that it wasn't his. She eventually released the food hostages back to me, after adding one last scowl for good measure. The food itself was bland and no longer warm. The coffee was adequate, but nothing special. The atmosphere was what is standard for a coffee shop chain. The overall experience was not pleasant, thanks largely to the rude behavior of one staff member.

Good place to grab a drink and light bite. There are baked pastries such as croissants and muffins. There are fruit and cheese cups. There are packaged yogurts. Sandwiches are pre-made and in a case for selection. The sandwiches can be warmed for you via microwave. There are hot and cold drinks. There seems to be quite a few regulars that frequent this establishment.

Across the street from our hotel. Good coffee and almond pastries. Lots of seating too. The guy behind the counter a bit sour, but other than that a decent place.
