This restaurant was recommended by our tour guide, as well as out guide book. It is a great example of local Quebec food. Despite it'Buffs name, it is not a buffet. The service is great and the food very fun. It isn't fancy; just plain, good, affordable fare. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an easy and authentic meal. We were there for dinner but the breakfast menu looked amazing. On Saturday morning there wa... View all feedback.
What Нармағамбет Адырбай doesn't like about Buffet De L'Antiquaire:
I am sad to write that eating is simply rough. spaghetti with meat sauce on the side insensitive mold taste revealed crispy day old spaghetti noodles. no parmesan to wtf? extra calculated for chef salat substitution 6$ on a vegan burger just to get salat, apples? stuffed mozzarella and croutons. eclectic and certainly not vegan, and not a boil salad. nasty. the waitress couldn't sleep! I feel dimmed from the reviews... View all feedback.
There was a long line to sit, but it was definitely worth waiting. my man and I both have been eier. I had it with spinat and he got it. the homemade toast with homemade strawberry jam. we loved it! so delicious! the service was excellent. our waitress checked us several times and refilled our coffee. I wish we had eaten again before we left the old quebec.
Excellent eggs Benedict! Very reasonable prices too! The wait wasn't too bad and the food was worth the wait.
Very homely place. Delicious food with big portions. I highly recommend you get the shepards pie, hamburger poutine, and chomeur for desert. The staff is very kind and the place is clean. Expect long waits however. Give this place a try.
Best breakfast/brunch in QC so far (I’ve been here six weeks and have tried dozens of places . You know the place is good when locals come here. And they do. Delicious food. Good prices. Everything is fresh and beautifully prepared. Terrific service. Food arrived quickly. Reasonably priced. Quirky interior. Outside cafe space, too.[Note: I can now recommend the lunch and dinner menu: classics (Québécois meat pie and beans, Shepherd’s Pie, burgers, etc. . Just noticed their selection of desserts, too. Yummmm.
The wait is line is worth it and I must say the line moves quickly. The staff do their best to ensure that you receive wonderful service. We all know that breakfast food is pretty easy but they do a really good job with it. The strawberry jam is a MUST !
