The sit-in part was empty when we arrived, however some others did come in later. The waitress was lovely and spoke good English, and we tried to speak back in French when we could. However, the food was not ready for all of us at the same time, but it was warm and delicious. Happy customers all round. View all feedback.
What Gilda Hintz doesn't like about Baifoo Express:
The service was very good. Unfortunately, we are disappointed about the food. The dishes ordered, 3 out of 4 were extremely and unevenly salted. The vegetables were very monotonic with red and green peppers and bean sprout in all dishes. The red pepper was not so fresh leaving a bad after taste. For the price we paid, there are other better options near by, View all feedback.

One of the previous reviews mentions non-pretentious and i perfectly agree. This is a simple, friendly place with great food, excellent service at reasonable prices. A good alternative if you are tired of the busy, trendy, touristy (and overpiced) restaurants and just want to enjoy a nice meal.I came alone for a dinner when in town for a conference. Ordered a 1/4 bottle of nice hot sake, a soup and a creamy peanut chicken with fried rice, which was a generous portion and was topped with plenty of toasted peanut. Would go back anytime.
We picked this place at random just because it was close to our hotel and we were tired. It was quite good food at reasonable prices. The hot and sour soup was particularly good.
We wanted to dine in a Chinese restaurant that was good value for our money (
Stopped in for a late meal after listening to The Cult playing across the street in the parc de la francophonie. I ordered a meal with noodles and my wife only had the egg roll and spring rolls. The woman waiting our table made a mistake and brung a chicken and shrimp rice plate, but it was getting late and they were preparing to close the restaurant so i decided that would be good enough. Well that was a good decision as this was one of the best rice plate i ever had in a restaurant. Rice was perfect and the vegetables were just a bit on the crunchy side. A bonus was a 20 oz of beer for 5 dollars to accompany the meal. Blanche de chambly goes great with asian cuisine. They must have had a busy day . They ran out of dumplings and wonton soup. Céline loved the egg/spring rolls.
