Beautiful renovations, looks like home! Food is amazing, though allow plenty of time to stay as the food can take 30-40 minutes to arrive, but well worth the wait and price! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tourist Hotel:
All I wanted was a $7 bowl of fries. These took ages to come, and when they did there was no sauce of any kind. When I asked I got told that tomato sauce was $2 extra. Never seen that before - won't be back. View all feedback.
We enjoyed a good evening meal here. Two had the lamb cutlets, one seafood basket and one schnitzel. The service was average our server could not muster any enthusiasm. They got the sides mixed up between meals but the rest was ok. We...had asked for a quiet table but even in the lounge area, the music was high. The value is good here too.
Firstly, upon entering the venue, it was visibly VERY busy, and noone checked any of our covid certificates when we arrived, for any of the of us. Luckily we are all fully vaccinated and observing the current rules but this leads me to wonder...how many of the other patrons aren't? Family dinner was planned for the tourist for the simple fact that they accepted dine and discover vouchers. As unfortunately some of us have found ourselves in a circumstance that requires us to budget a little more thoroughly, this was the main appeal of this venue. Our party of all had our vouchers ready which clearly state on the vouchers redeemable days a week. We got up to order and the man at the register pointed to a VERY small worded clause on their ,We accept dine and discover cards' sign that said monday-thursday. I'm sorry, but since when is a restaurant above the rules that mandate when a voucher can be used issued by the GOVERNMENT!? I understand this isn't the man at the registers fault, however I felt really disgruntled by this experience as nowhere was it visible that this was the case until we had already settled in, budgeted our dinner based on the fact we each had the voucher, and lined up in the person line to order just to be told we couldn't. Really tainted an otherwise nice dinner with family. Patrons consider this a lesson if you're planning to eat at this venue, you will be in a venue where there is no enforcement of covid mandates, and unfortunately will have an overpriced mediocre steak that you can't even be compensated financially for if you're looking for a nice night out on the weekend.
Narim and the staff were great to deal with and the stonegrill steak was the best one I have ever eaten. Definitely recommend the garlic butter
Stone grill special. The meals here tonight were large and tasty but we heard the pizzas were not that great. It might be a small issue but this place was busy so it is popular. Try it.
Well, we were here about months ago and the food was pretty good, so we decided to go back. Let me start off with the place is welcoming, friendly and the staff always have a smile. This time we ordered the fish and chips...and a chicken schnitzel with mushroom gravy and chips. All seemed to come out of a box, whilst good enough…it was average fare for this part of town. The prices, however, are very reasonable. Can’t say that we’ll be back for food, but for drinks yes. It’s a nice place, but the food quality has waned in since our last visit.
