Dined here with my family on a week night. Great range of choices and reasonably priced. Very tasty and generous serves. Our waitress was very helpful and seemed to be kept busy all night. While I watched the other waitress sitting behind the counter drinking a can of coke and just lounging around.......not very professional or a good look. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about New Cathay Chinese Restaurant:
We used to be regulars at the New Cathay and wanted to re-visit it. Food was OK, expensive compared to previous visits, serves smaller. However, I am sure that we would have enjoyed it more if the staff smiled, automatically provided wine glasses when they saw customers had bottles of wine - after all it is a BYO. The restaurant has a large staff, which ensures that the service is very fast. The food is absolutely delicious.
Ordered for the first time from here. Will be ordered from here again. Good meal, good value and they even added a few shrimp chips. Beautiful touch
We had a very nice and long dinner at this Chinese restaurant, which we can recommend to all who have a wide selection of different Chinese and Asian dishes with great taste. The entry of a hot sauce was spicy, but in a good way with lots of vegetables and other ingredients. Satay Chicken was very mild, but tasty as well as deep fried duck in lemon sauce, which is ideal for all who enjoy that deeply sweet taste and sweet and sour pigs was very nice made aswell the Szechuan dish was beautiful aswell all dishes were very fresh. Customer service was very good to help you where friendly and happy with any problem. This restaurant deserves its good reviews very well and seems to be known in this area for its beautiful local dishes.
Hmm...I guess you should also update your holiday closing on Google Maps. Anyway, I'll give you five more stars. Happy New Year!
The first time here, and they were so busy and made room for us. super friendly staff and the food was amazing! Will definitely recommend and come back!
