I'm reiterating my previous review of the former owner; the rating remains the same because we eat incredibly well there. What a joy to have this restaurant in the heart of the village! It's the only place we have to meet up with friends and relax. The new owners have brought their good humor, expertise, and kindness. Honestly, go there; the quality and price are excellent.
A very good restaurant, we ate well, the atmosphere was friendly, and the owners were fantastic. Go without hesitation!
First impression: atrocious. But we decided to stay anyway because we were hungry. We were right and don't regret it. From the moment we arrived, the young waitress was unpleasant, making it clear we weren't welcome. I've never experienced such a terrible welcome. Fortunately, we were then served by a young man who was incredibly kind and professional. That's why we don't regret staying, because the food was good and the gentleman was so warm. However, I wouldn't wish being served by the young waitress on anyone. Her bitterness was rarely seen, she was disrespectful, and certainly not professional. What a shame.
Lunch at Bar Le Quarante is a must if you're a rugby fan. And definitely do it for lunch. Good value for money. Fast service. Haha, and I almost had a heart attack when the waiter dropped the (empty) coffee cup, haha, which was still attached to a spoon. A joke for newcomers like us. No, the atmosphere was good here, I love it.
