The Ravens Nest - Quakertown

No cell phone recording is allowed, and there's no free Wi-Fi. Be aware that drinks come with extra charges. The shop window is nice, and I really love the fireplace. The open jam on Sundays is a great feature, but it would be even better if there was an open mic instead, as they are quite different experiences.

Came here after a long hike in Nockamixon State Park. The warm fire and the pizza steak met the place. Very cozy and cool atmosphere. Loved the artwork on the front shield and the building was built in the 1700s. Very cool. People also very friendly. Will definitely be back.

The Classic Bucks County Tavern. In operation since the 1700's. The grill is behind the bar and usually operated by the bar tender. It is fun to sit and watch the food being made. Cheesesteaks and Burgers are the staples. Beer is cold, and they actually have some good brews on tap. But the best part is whoever is in the bar that night. The stories and the personalities are more entertaining than any sitcom on television. Oh, and the music. Always some good music at the Nest. I have heard amazing blues jams over the years.

A great friend brought us to this spot today during our journey, and we absolutely loved it! Within moments of walking in, we found ourselves chatting with everyone and sharing stories. This has definitely become my new favorite bar near New Hope. The ride to get here was fantastic as well! The service was excellent, and everything we tasted was delicious. We’ll be back soon. This is a lovely pub with great food—you should definitely try the cheese steaks! I remember catching some fantastic bands here many years ago, and it’s nice to see they still have a stage set up with a drum kit. Conveniently located near Lake Nockamixon, I highly recommend this place!
