This restaurant offers authentic vegetarian cuisine in a unique and cozy atmosphere. It's a great spot for a leisurely breakfast, lunch, or dinner with friends and family. They also cater to those with gluten-free dietary restrictions. The food is delicious and the vibe is funky and relaxed. I highly recommend it. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Farmer And The Chickpea:
They had soup or salad as vegan options. They mentioned that they are not listed on Happy Cow because they do not cater to vegans. Despite this, we decided to give them a try. View all feedback.
First time here...a lot to take it/learn. So, park on the back and head to the back right entrance. Once in, the food prep area is immediately in front of you. Head to the left of the register, find a menu, and see what you want to order. Soup is self serve on an outside counter. All the food is definitely prepared to order and by hand. No microwaves or frozen food in sight. The overall food prep area is minimalist. Older mismatched appliances and metal wire shelving create a rustic vibe. Ordered sandwiches and soup. Sat and waited...and waited....and waited....and waited. The place is massive...I don 't even know that I saw how big it how many people were there, but they were slammed and behind. Received a couple check ins and apologies during my 55 minute wait before getting my food and heading back home to the fam to eat. Good was great and HUGE portions. I 'll buy 1 for 2 people next time and call it in. I feel like no one could possibly know what to expect the first visit given the eclectic setup and style, but by 2nd visit, your likely a pro. Didn 't even get to walk by all the random food boutique items they had there... Will definitely go back.Parking: Lots of parking around back. No lines.
Had the BEST olive, tomato, cucumber and dressing i've had in a long time. Very crisp and chilled just right large portions, table wait staff needs training, S L O W to say the least. Had to self serve coffee for my table.Parking: Big lot, no stripes, haphazard araingemnt of cars?Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance ok, BUT NO BATHROOM ACCESS.
My first time to eat here. Very good and tasty. The amount of food was huge, too much for my girl friend and I to finish eating in one sitting, anyway there is always tomorrow for a second meal.Small chicken pot pie and honey mustard, cheddar cheese chicken sandwich. Will be back again
Quality and quantity is excellent. Definitely not fast food but good, healthy food that you wait for. The decor is farm rustic. This is my favorite Quakertown restaurant.
Delicious, fresh, and homemade items. The sandwiches are gigantic!
