Formerly Giacomo's, Mercatino Italiano is the place to go for traditional essentials and treats. Plenty of imported pastas, sauces, canned, and jarred foods. The true draw is the foods. Desserts of various shapes and sizes to suit every sweet tooth beckon from the well-stocked cases. Fresh pastas and sauces sit beside grab-and-go meals. What Anita Ricci doesn't like about Mercatino Italiano Formerly Giacomo's Italian Market:
We were so excited when we found this store. We loved the authenticity of the products offered. The bakery treats looked great. But the entire experience was ruined at the end. When paying we were asked for a tip and the option to waive the tip was very difficult to find—if it was even there. So my 83.00 order had a 10% up charge (tip)on it, in addition to a 3.5% charge for using our debit card. So a 13.5% charge for... View all feedback.

When paying we were asked for a tip and the option to waive the tip was very difficult to find—if it was even there. So my 83.00 order had a 10% up charge (tip)on it, in addition to a 3.5% charge for using our debit card. So a 13.5% charge for simply buying items at the store. No one served us a thing. So what started out as such a great experience and couldn’t wait to tell our friends—ended up that we won’t be back. We will not support businesses that insist on this new tipping culture that consumers are asked to simply pay more. How unfortunate.

A great specialty market. The owners wanted to replicate an italian market and there are a lot of unique items here. From fresh prepared foods to frozen to bakery to a deli with Italian curd meats. The baked items are amazing! You need to walk in here with a sense of self control. I stopped for a breakfast sandwich and got a piece of ricotta coffee cake as well. I wanted to buy everything in the prepared foods section! The soups and the pasta with sauces looked amazing! I will definitely come back!
I gave four stars because the food is delicious and I have had very good food and desserts here. Today my Italian rum cake was very dry like card board. It’s not always convenient to go back if you live a distance. Also, a negative for me is, you can not use debit only credit with a fee.
The Best Italian Market in Bucks or Lehigh! The sandwiches can be pricey but they are big and delicious!
