PizzAperta is a casual dining pizzeria located on Pirrama Road at The Star casino. With mainly outdoor seating, PizzAperta is the place to have an easy-going, al fresco dining experience. With pizza on our mind, we ordered our pizza, received our buzzers and sat down to enjoy the open-air, roadside view as we chatted. View all feedback.
Been there for a quick pizza before having a walk around Vivid. Nice experience, something different. Is not the usual pizza place, it really reminds me of Italy, having your pizza on the reef, looking the sea and enjoying your beer. Very easy going but delicious pizza, well cooked. We had raviolo and the weekly special with truffle, only comment related to the truffle one, the truffle was lacking a bit of flavor, but the ravioli was amazing, the burrata and the tomato quality are outstanding.
Great pizza selection and they offer gluten free pizza which tastes great too so bonus points for that. Beautiful location outside the casino
Very nice pizza on a humid night in Sydney. The Calabrese was cooked beautifully and the nduja sausage was a real highlight - very traditional. A point off for the beverage service. Would have expected that a $9 tap beer would come in a chilled glass and not a plastic (hardened) cup. Will definitely go back.
Located at the bottom of The Star, this casual pizzeria offers great pizzas, snacks, desserts & alcohol. Order your food & drinks at the bar/counter & receive a buzzer to collect your food when its ready. All the food is served in either containers like the arancini or takeaway pizza boxes with the lid being able to be torn into 4 to use as plates. The Margherita is a classic & delicious but the calzone was the highlight. Filled generously with salami, ricotta & tomato it was also topped with more tomato sugo & mozzarella. Yum! The Nutella calzone for dessert looked great but we were too full for it on this occasion so headed upstairs for some Messina for a light finish.
A restaurant that is part of the Manfredi group located at The Star. It is an informal dining venue offering varying choices of pizzas, sides, and desserts. Great if you need a feed after some gambling or catching a show. They also offer alcohol for sale too. Order and make payment at the counter and buzzer given to you. Once the buzzer sounds you can collect your piping hot pizza from the counter. The lady serving us was lovely. Our selection included Margherita Pizza, Buffalo Mozzarella, Prosciutto Di Parma Pizza, and Nutella Pizza. They used imported 'Petra' flour from Italy and it does make the dough tasty! Both the savoury pizzas had lovely crispy bases though slightly soggy for the prosciutto pizza (probably due to more fillings on top). Everyone agreed the nicest one was the nutella pizza as it was done calzone style and the filling oozed out when eaten which is wonderful. The boxes are super handy to break apart to use as plates or kept folded to takeaway.
