We went there while in Sydney on holiday as recommended by a friend and were not disappointed. The food was some of the best Japanese food i've had outside of Japan. All staff were friendly and welcoming, and we found the prices very reasonable considering the quality. Will definitely go back next time we're in Sydney. View all feedback.
What Aleen Mante doesn't like about Kiyo Japanese Restaurant:
love this place and eat, kiyo is a friendly owner and very courteous. I was often back and was never disappointed. ask him for a special dish that is not on the menu! View all feedback.
We trusted the chef and did the deluxe edition sample menu. Every dish was amazing. And for $85 you got a lot of food! The only downside was our waitress did not know her sakes. Other than that we had a great time. I would definitely recommend!
Very nice traditional place with a modern twist. The food is really fresh and delicious. Service is excellent! Real Japanese food!
OK suburban Japanese food, with simple decor. Sashimi well cut and meals good to share and enjoyable. Small size restaurant so best to book. Wine list reasonable.
I use to manage a Japanese restaurant and this place blows it away. The best salmon carpaccio and beef tataki I have ever tasted. A credit to the owner. Can’t wait to come back to Sydney
Great place for a relaxed dinner with friends. Food is well suited for sharing which allows everyone to try more dishes. Food is very fresh and is absolutely great be it a sashimi or teriyaki chicken or wagyu beef. Service is extremely friendly. Atmosphere is very nice underlined by the japanese style design of the interior. They are BYO. I will go there again.
