Was User at Pub In The Paddock a mag?
Called here after walking to the falls. Real pub full of character and different beers. Rocky was here with his beautiful dog 'blue'. Plenty of pictures on the walls of famous people who like us had called in for a pint. Real ozzie pub View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Pub In The Paddock:
4 friends dined here for dinner. The beer was cold, the place was great with history and views. The food unfortunately did not match the setting. We ordered chicken schnitzels and pork ribs. The chicken was reconstituted and 'imported' (as advised by the owner). I assume there is an absence of chickens in Tasmania. The pork ribs tasted old and were reheated. The cauliflower in the roasted veg had black spots from age. Chips were ok. Where is the great Tasmanian produce?.

A nice pub to stop off at during your travels for a beer, but don't bother eating here.

Drove out of our way after reading reviews to get a country pub meal. Arrived at 3pm to be told the chef had gone home and kitchen hours were 12-2 or 6-8. We were offered a "king island pie" for $5.50 only to be served a soggy microwaved lump on a plate with some cold sauce. An absolute disgrace from a country pub.
