With Empire Buffet, for years now it's... read more I've been eating here for years. The fact is, there's really no good Chinese food anymore. It's all either okay, or bad. With Empire Buffet, for years now it's been consistently okay, never bad. That's a good thing, because if you want okay Chinese food (which is the best you'll get around here), then you can count on this place. The food itself isn't the whole story though. It's the people. Honestly, they're always so kind, so accommodating. When I'm there, they ALWAYS ask if I want more of this or that anything they're low on. It's good that they don't just have piles of food in the buffet they keep the pans less full, so it stays fresher, and they'll happily cook you up a fresh batch. They always greet me kindly, are kind to my children, and the service is quick. It's not the most charming place to dine in, so we always take our food to go. If you want some of the better Chinese food around, this place checks the box, and I'd say you should give them a try.

I bit into a dump... read more Waitress was absolutely miserable, place is dirty and fruit flies were everywhere. I got the buffet but my mom just ordered a small appetiser. I bit into a dumpling and spit it out. My mom grabbed it to smell it and the lady rushed over to accuse her of eating off my buffet plate and threatened to charge for two plates. Tried to explain what happened and that maybe the dumplings were bad but just sat there getting accused of stealing a dumpling. Never was asked for a drink refill and with how it’s stationed I was left to guess that I must have to refill it myself, only to be lectured again. Not sure how this place is in business. The lady at the front desk however was very friendly but our waitress had the personality of a soured dish rag.

Sometimes they have a 10% off coupon in turnpike buyer or you can get frequent buyer cards that earn you free meal after 10 purchased. Dinner includes crab legs.
