We recently dined at Angelbury for the third time. The food was excellent, the prices were very reasonable, and the service was extremely friendly. The building also has an interesting history, with connections to T E Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia). View all feedback.

I recently dined at Anglebury House after a 2-year pandemic hiatus. We enjoyed a fantastic meal, which was served promptly and courteously by Emma. The decor may be a bit outdated due to the building's age, but the quality of the food and service makes up for it. The prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The staff were friendly, but the breakfast was disappointing. It was similar to what you would find in a supermarket cafe.
Popped in for Breakfast. They happily altered the items for my fry-up and my Wife had Beans on Toast. Everything was as expected. We will be back. Xx
The weather was lovely and we would have liked to have sat out by the river but the area is used as a car park and we did not want to sit overlooking cars so we walked up the high street and stopped a local lady and asked her for a recommendation and she suggested The Anglebury House. We walked there and it was a charming old property. We sat in the walled garden and enjoyed scones and cream and delicious italian coffee.
