The staff were friendly, the location was great, and I enjoyed sitting on the beach overlooking the sunny Swanage Bay. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Despite the slightly chilly wind, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. The delicious coffee quickly warmed me up, and I enjoyed a small plate of tastefully presented dishes that I could easily manage. The staff were as kind as always. I highly recommend this place.

The menu is ex... read more Eating at 'Down the Beach' is always a delightful experience. Ashley and his staff provide tasty food at affordable prices with friendly service. The menu is expansive, but standouts include the delicious breakfasts and afternoon teas. Indulge in a warm scone with clotted cream and locally made jam, while enjoying the beautiful view from the deck overlooking the beach. Along with traditional café dishes, you can also purchase ice cream, beach games, buckets and spades, and even rent windbreaks and deck chairs. It's the perfect spot for a beach day outing!
