Brisas Del Mar - Puntarenas

One of the highlights of our last trip. You can talk about the view all day, but the food was spectacular. Yes, you need to get on the hill (as you do just about anywhere in CR) Lucho (Koch and owner) and Juan our server were amazing. We came Friday for everything you can eat pizza and had to come back next night for grilled fish. Lucho asked what we wanted, described what he went to work. Then the feast was set before us and ate like kings. Thank you, Lucho!!! a part of the trip we never forget.

Extremely unprofessional behavior of the owners. I had expected to pay for the room with a credit card, but her card reader was "broken" and they wanted me to pay in cash. Good. But the ATM only allows you to withdraw 100k colonies at a time (about $150) and the balance was $550. And every time I have to pay $10 in fees to get the money. So I'd be able to pay $150. When I told them that, they started and bombed me every day with phone calls because they thought I wouldn't pay. One day, more than 10 phone calls. At 8:00 they showed up to knock on the door and ask for money. Then back at 10. Again 12. Again at 6. Repeat for 2 days. Of course, last day, her card reader magic started working again and I could pay with card. The owners of this place are completely crazy: never again.

This was our favorite restaurant during our stay in Costa Rica! We stayed at the Buenos Aires Hotel connected to the restaurant and ate most of our meals here because the dishes and drinks were amazing, the view was nice and the cook and server were so nice and fun! We stayed there in July 2017 and, as it was the slow season, we usually had the restaurant to ourselves and a lot of time to get to know the staff. They were really wonderful and the food was unbeatable! We heard that there were people who dimmed here when there was another owner who specialized in French food. It seems a lot of negative reviews during this timeframe. Please check this place with the new owner and the staff. You will not be disappointed!

Amazing restaurant with a crazy view (big to see the sunset). The food is delicious and the staff is welcoming and friendly!
