Great, kind employees with a cozy atmosphere absolutely perfect. We came here every single day for our stay in Puno. 100% recommend!

How can someone make a bad pasta...but... read more The decorations and details are beautiful, but the food is terrible! And in person I prefer a ugly but tasty restaurant. How can someone make a bad pasta...but they have, the worst pasta I've ever had! Dull hot chocolate, which was a real deception, because... they sell food chocolate everywhere! Just avoid it!

We had explored a lot of Puno, but w... read more After 3 days in Puno, my friend and I were overjoyed to find this small café in a side street along the main tourist strip. We had explored a lot of Puno, but we hadn't found the nice café we were looking for... where you can sit down and relax. But finding Cafe Buho was a dream that became true, a beautifully decorated, peaceful little paradise in the midst of busy and sometimes overwhelming Puno. The couple that owns the restaurant is very beautiful and wonderful to speak. And the coffee could be the best cup we had all over Peru! Cheers!

We alw... read more After arriving late at the train from Cusco and negotiating from the station to the hotel, we spent some time walking through the pedestrian mall to eat. We always have a directive to take a side street to find somewhere less...tourism and more locals. We found Café Buho and Ventured. We found it pretty sweet and cozy, although we found the menu a little limiting and disappointing. We did not find food or service very well and we recommend you to try other places.
