After a disheartening return trip from Kass and heading towards Pune, just around kms from Kaas, we were tired and decide to have a stop over for tea and Vada pav. We parked our car at the restaurant for a transit break. As I...was very hungry, scanned the menu and ordered for Chicken Thali. It turned out very tasty and my family too started having taste bites from my thali. They then ordered Dal Tadka, Chicken Kolha... View all feedback.
What Komal Prabhu doesn't like about Hotel Ruchi Park Satara:
We reached here when the temperature was over 43 degrees.I was recommended Manas but I felt that this was a better place because a review mentioned AC sitting, which was a boon. The AC section isn't great and has questionable clientele because it serves alcohol, only had male patrons in groups and not a single family despite a wedding next door and bus parked downstairs. The hygiene too isn't great because dirty table... After a disheartening return trip from Kass and heading towards Pune, just around 30 kms from Kaas, we were tired and decide to have a stop over for tea and Vada pav. We parked our car at the restaurant for a transit break. As I was very hungry, scanned the menu and ordered for Chicken Thali. It turned out very tasty and my family too started having taste bites from my thali. They then ordered Dal Tadka, Chicken Kolhapuri and Paneer Tikka masala. The food was delicious and truly worth the price as it had the Maharashtrian masala and flavor. We also decided to pack additional food for dinner as take away. It lacked basic hygiene but made up with quick service, quality food and good staff. Parking area on the busy highway was available
Between Pune Kolhapur, this eatery is located which serves Mutton and Bhakri in truly Maharashtrian flavour. It so happens that though you are hungry for some time but this hotel is making us drive for additional few kms just to be there. Ambiance and the service is good. Food is quite reasonably priced. When on NH-4, planning to have lunch or dinner do drop in. It's worth it.
Hotel Ruchi Park is located on the Mumbai Bangalore Highway, short of Satara and 33 kms ahead of Shirwal on the left if driving towards Bangalore. Ample parking, reasonably good food, moderate prices, polite staff, cook who is willing to modify the food as per your choice make this a good option. Reasonably clean toilets may make this halt attractive. There is a permit room that I have not seen. I, did not see anyone in a happy state, maybe it was early as I was there at 4 pm.
I often visited this restaurant and I liked the non-veg dishes from here. Service is also fast. Must try Chiken Malwani from here.
We happened upon this restaurant by chance on our way to Kolhapur. Situated right in front of the parking lot, we decided to sample some traditional Kolhapuri cuisine. My wife and I tried the Mutton Thali while my sister opted for the vegetarian option. Having eaten in Kolhapur before, we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food at this restaurant. Seeing the owner dining next to us reassured us of the quality of the food, and we were not disappointed. The menu included Mutton Kolhapuri, kheema, two types of sauce, and a flavorful mutton dish with mutton chunks. The dishes were served with bhakri, a millet-based bread that complemented the meal perfectly. The management was attentive and friendly, making sure we had a great dining experience. The bill came out to less than $9, which was a great value for the delicious food we enjoyed. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. This restaurant is a must-visit on your way to Kolhapur!
