This title is presented and backed by the student newspaper The Dai... read more Valhalla has received BEST OVERALL BAR 2007-2010, voted by students campus wide by students. This title is presented and backed by the student newspaper The Daily Evergreen. I will tell you right off that Valhalla is what I would consider the epitome of college bars. They have everything from a full menu to a DJ with a fully engaged dancefloor. They have rock bottom prices but do not skimp on quality. 99% of the customers are college students and they cater to their financial and social needs. I can say a bunch about the food menu, but one thing I do want to mention is that Valhalla has the best Hot Wings in town. They have over 10 different sauces to choose from, all of which are unique and interesting. If you want to see what that's all about, come check them out on Wednesday Nights at 9pm...but get there early, it gets packed!

There were only three other people in the place not counting the two staff members behind the bar. After 10 minutes of sitting without anyone coming over to talk to us we got up and left, no one said a word. Might as well just close it that is how you operate.

The dance floor downstairs is always a good time, and there are about four different bar areas to choose from. Upstairs, you'll find plenty of seating and a giant Jenga game. On Tuesdays, they offer $7 refills for their large drinks, but it's best to arrive early or late to dodge the long lines.
