Zum Alten Rathaus - Pulheim

The ambiance inside is very old-fashioned as one would expect. I don't have anything against quaint deco but the charm was missing.The food was nothing memorable. Sames fries as McDonald's, overcooked meat (they don't ask for you preference), not bad per se but below expectations.Passable service. Average age probably around 70. We won't go back.

The hotel is located in the pedestrian area of Pulheim. Unfortunately, I arrived late, and didn't have an opportunity to try the restaurant. Reviews are good, and the menu sounds very interesting, so definitely a reason to return.Checking-in and checkin-out was quick and easy. The rooms are clean and functional. Breakfast was excellent. A selection of bread, cheese, and cold meats is brought to your table, and eggs cooked in a variety of ways is offered. Extra is available on demand.Bed and breakfast costs less than €50 and for me represents great value.

I enjoyed a nice meal at this restaurant during a recent stay in Pulheim. The menu offered both local and european dishes one of which was Croatian djuvec rice and meat. My friends and I opted for steak options one of which took the form of a house platter for two which would have fed three adults. The food was great! As was the service. The experience was to be recommended.
